Well, a few carefully chosen Google Chrome extensions for SEO can make your decision making whole lot easier.

Google’s Chrome store has a ton of SEO tools, all ready to give your SEO efforts a powerful boost in just one or two clicks.

The beauty of most of SEO Chrome extensions is that they are super-easy to get going with…as well as super-easy to part company with, should you not get on with them.

But, that said, don't load up on all of them, as too many will end up slowing your browser down.

Here are a few of my current favourite SEO Chrome extensions…

#2. Mangools SEO Extension

Mangools is the browser extension I use the most.

I am a big fan of pretty much everything that the people over at Mangools do.

It's only fair to say that I have Premium membership with Mangools, so I am able to enjoy all of the functionality that their suite of SEO tools has to offer.

If you sign-up with Mangools, I'd be surprised if they don't quickly become one of your go-to SEO tools.

The SERP overlay feature offered by the browser extension includes the following analytics for each of the SERP listings:

  • Domain Authority
  • Page Authority
  • Citation Flow & Trust Flow
  • Alexa Rank
  • Facebook shares & Followers on social profiles

If you want more information in your browser, a Mangools account will be required, and then you can go right ahead and add all of these further analytics:

  • Competitor's Keywords: Shows what the currently visited website already ranks for;
  • Backlink Checker: Competitor backlinks including critical metrics;
  • On-Page SEO Analysis;
  • Keyword Density Checker: Find short & long tail keywords, plus their density and placement;
  • Broken Link Checker: Find any broken links on any website.

This is seriously high-quality SEO tool offered at an almost unbelievably low price.

Easy-to-use, powerful, effective.

The browser extension aims to help content marketers and SEO's create content outlines quickly, discover keywords and backlinks, as well as spy on competitor's backlinks and Google Ads.

You can go with the free plan if you are looking or the typical SERP overlay type data, such as:

  • Domain Authority

Or you can go with the paid plan to access a lot more super-useful SEO insights right inside your browser, including:

#4. BuzzSumo Extension

BuzzSumo Chrome extension makes it super-easy to access content related site information within your browser.

A little bit different to the extensions we have so far looked at, because this one is primarily a content marketing tool.

BuzzSumo is mainly used for content research, monitoring of media, content discovery, and conducting influencer research.

It can help you keep up with, and identify, current trending topics, as well as analyse the content of competitors.

BuzzSumo’s Chrome extension gives you information on how a specific piece of content is performing, all from within your browser.

It shows engagement on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Reddit.

A great addition to the toolbox of any content marketer.

#5. Ubersuggest Chrome Extension

The free Ubersuggest SEO Chrome extension gives you keyword data inside Google, as well as inside YouTube and Amazon.

That's useful stuff for any online marketer.

You also get backlink data, social share count, domain metrics, traffic estimates etc.

This extensions is easy to use and provides a lot of information for minimal effort.

A great free option if you're on a tighter budget.

You can access more features to reveal more advanced site information by subscribing for Moz Pro if you like…

#7. FindThatLead
