But, you have a simple choice to make before going any further…
Do you go it alone?
Maybe save a bit of money by not shelling out on an Amazon FBA training course, and hope you don’t make any costly mistakes along the way.
Put your hand in your pocket for some quality training on how to become a seller on Amazon, maximise your chances of success and minimise your chances of making expensive rookie errors?
Simple choice…don’t you think?
Well, if you do, read on.
The Amazon courses below are what I personally believe to be the best Amazon FBA courses out there.
All fit, in my opinion, to teach pretty much anyone exactly how to sell on Amazon.
(If you are completely new to this, I mean to the point where you don’t know what Amazon FBA even really is, maybe have a quick read of my post on the subject first. You can find it by just clicking here).
In no particular order…
Proven Amazon Course
Originally launched in 2009, this course is still one of the most popular options for Amazon FBA training.
And that’s not too surprising…
Jim Cockrum and his team are continually updating the course, adding new strategies and increasing the number of support staff.
To quote the Proven Amazon Course website:
This is the most comprehensive, creative and up-to-date “selling on Amazon” course in the world supported by the largest team of successful Amazon selling moderators.
Now I don’t know about that, but I do know that the course is high quality and extremely comprehensive. There are loads of video tutorials as well as written training, between them covering just about every aspect of becoming a successful Amazon FBA seller.
The core of the course is on the 3 key aspects of Amazon FBA:
Proven Amazon Course covers all of these areas extremely thoroughly.
Around the main topics noted above there’s plenty of bonus material to help you get your business to the next level, including training on private labelling, inventory, refund guidance etc.
Other benefits of this course:
Part of the Proven Amazon Course specialises in how to get on to Amazon FBA for non-United States residents. Most other courses focus solely on United States residents using Amazon FBA via Amazon.com.
The course also has a very active private community on Facebook where you can get help and advice from other members going through the course.
Price: One payment of $399, or three payments of $146 each

Stephen Somers and Robert Rickey are the two guys behind Marketplace SuperHeroes.
This Amazon seller training course has been around for a couple of years and was fully updated in 2017, meaning it’s one of the most up-to-date courses regarding Amazon FBA that you can get your hands on in 2018.
To quote the MarketPlace SuperHeroes website:
In just 2 years the MPSH community has generated millions in revenue and has become the #1 place to learn how to build a sustainable, global Amazon empire.
One of the many things I love about this course is that the strategy for finding products to sell on Amazon is very different to that of most courses in the same space.
And that’s also the case with the whole MarketPlace Superheroes philosophy, they do things differently to most and will teach you the exact processes that they have used to build their own Amazon selling business into the success it is today.
MarketPlace SuperHeroes includes:
- MPSH Core System Phase 1 and Phase 2: 97 training videos in total, across 12 modules.
- Fuel Your Empire: Over the shoulder video training of Robert and Stephen as they go through the product research process.
- $1k Per Day Road Map: How to get your business to $1,000 per day in sales.
- Invincible Importing: How to master the importing process and easily import your products every single time.
- 30 Minute Legendary Listings: The exact MPSH process for creating auto-selling Amazon listings that convert.
- Fuel Your Empire God Series: More over the shoulder videos on the key aspects of product selection and market analysis.
- Regular online streams by Robert and Stephen to answer member questions and offer up some words of motivation.
Other benefits of this course:
Selling through Amazon FBA in multiple countries is a huge part of the MarketPlace SuperHeroes strategy.
No other course covers this area the way MarketPlace SuperHeroes does, the only other course I have found that comes close is Proven Amazon Course.
The course is not tailored to be a better fit for the residents of any one country. All the training is about selling globally on Amazon, not just on Amazon.com.
One of my favourite things about the course is that the it is very linear. Step-by-step stuff starting with the basics, covering every aspect of the MPSH strategy in detail and progressing to very advanced stuff towards the end…perfect for someone like me who likes to have their hand held through something like this.
Price: $997 ($97 per month option available at a slightly higher overall price)
Rating: 9/10 (damn high score I know, but, I’ve been following this Amazon FBA training for a year now and haven’t come across anything they’ve missed…and my Amazon business is going from strength-to-strength)

Udemy: Sell Wholesale Products Using Amazon FBA
Udemy.com it is an alternative learning method available entirely online.
Online courses are created, which are not accredited, but are definitely of merit.
In Udemy’s own words…
Use this Step-by-Step Roadmap to Search, Source, Ship and Sell those Great Products and Reap the Profits.
This is the current course content:
- Introduction to the course (6 lectures)
- Finding High-Quality Products to Sell on Amazon FBA (6 lectures)
- Finding Wholesale Suppliers and Obtaining Wholesale Purchasing Accounts (3 lectures)
- Analyse Wholesale Pricing and Place Orders (4 lectures)
- List Products on Seller Central and Ship them to Amazon Fulfilment Centres (4 lectures)
- Resources and Definitions (2 lectures)
To be totally honest this is my least favourite of the five courses I’ve covered in this post. It covers the basics pretty well but it’s very much ‘how to sell on Amazon for beginners’. I have a feeling that most people who take this course will find themselves moving on to a more in-depth Amazon FBA course fairly soon.
So if I don’t really like it that much, how come it made it onto this post?
It covers the basics of how to become an Amazon seller clearly and concisely…and it’s practically free if you buy at the right time.
Price: $124.99 (seems to be almost permanently discounted to either $19.99 or $11.99)
TheSellingFamily – Amazon Bootcamp v3.0
The Selling Family have been selling on Amazon since 2009 and teaching others how build their own Amazon FBA businesses since 2012.
The Amazon Bootcamp v3.0 video training is super high quality and it’s bang up to date.
And it’s easy to follow.
Step by step training that’s been well thought out and well put together.
A few words from their own website:
The Very Best Course To Launch Your Amazon FBA Business Using RETAIL ARBITRAGE
You’ll notice from the quote above that the Amazon Bootcamp training course is focused on a specific strategy…that of retail arbitrage. So don’t go buying this course expecting to find out about sourcing products from abroad and private labelling, that is not what these guys are about.
Here is a basic outline of how the course is structured:
- The true costs of doing business on Amazon
- Setting up your Amazon FBA business
- How product rankings and the buy box effect you
- Setting up inventory goals and guidelines
- How to source products locally using “retail arbitrage”
- Listing and selling your products on Amazon
What I really liked about this course…
…was the online community, which has a lot of member activity and where the owners also get very involved.
What I didn’t like about the course is that it is focused on the United States. That’s not to say that people from outside of the United Sates can’t get anything of value from Amazon Bootcamp, they can. The problem will be when it comes down to the finer detail, anyone from outside of the U.S. will be left having to do a lot of their own spadework.
Rating: 7/10 for U.S. residents, 4/10 for non-U.S. residents
Price: $347 Full Course Option, or $197 Videos Only Option

Err…hold on a second, wasn’t there supposed to be five top training courses about how to sell on Amazon?
Yes! And there was, but not anymore.
The thing is, I re-subscribed to a course previously included in this post. In my opinion it’s got out of hand expensive so I decided to scrub it.
It’s finally time to nail my colours to the mast and say which of the courses included in this post is my absolute favourite.
Well, I have two:
MarketPlace SuperHeroes is my number one. It’s the course that I stuck with and took me from clueless Amazon FBA seller, to a pretty solid level of success in under well under 12 months.
I’m still learning with MarketPlace SuperHeroes as I look to scale up my business to the next level.
If these guys weren’t around, I’d go here…
Proven Amazon Course. It’s also an excellent Amazon seller training course that can take you from complete newbie to super advanced in a relatively short space of time.
But what’s the best Amazon FBA course for you?
It depends on a few of things:
Where are you living? If you are in the United States you can choose any of them. If you’re outside of the U.S. I would say stick to either MarketPlace SuperHeroes or Proven Amazon Course.
What level are you at? I would say beginners can have their pick of those I’ve listed. If you’re more advanced I think you’ll want to rule out Udemy.
Your budget. Some of the price tags may seem steep but when you think that this a real business you’ll be setting up, and the training is focused on getting you to earnings of a few thousand dollars a month quickly, it’s a relatively small investment into your education and future business.
Trying to teach yourself Amazon FBA will cost you a fair amount of both time and money. Mistakes in this business can be expensive, all of these Amazon training courses will show you how to navigate around the potential pitfalls.
The truth is that I think all of the courses listed here are decent and offer good value.
My best advice would to to spend some time looking around their websites so you can start to get a feel for the people, as well as the course before proceeding. Find your best fit.
Got something to add?
I’d love to hear about your experiences with any Amazon FBA training courses…good or bad.
