So you want to know how to sell on Amazon, and you want to know what to sell on Amazon.
Great!
But, you have a simple choice to make before going any further…
Do you go it alone?
Maybe save a bit of money by not shelling out on an Amazon FBA training course, and hope you don't make any costly mistakes along the way;
or…
Put your hand in your pocket for some quality training on how to become a seller on Amazon, maximise your chances of success and minimise your chances of making expensive rookie errors?
Simple choice…don't you think?
Well, if you do, read on.
The Amazon courses below are what I personally believe to be the best Amazon FBA courses out there right now.
All fit, in my opinion, to teach pretty much anyone (well, anyone with a decent work ethic) exactly how to sell on Amazon.
(If you are completely new to this, I mean to the point where you only just about know what Amazon FBA even really is, maybe have a quick read of my post all about how it works.
Anyway, enough chit-chat, let's get down to business…
Here are the 5 who I believe to be offering the best Amazon FBA courses right now:
1. MarketPlace SuperHeroes
Stephen Somers and Robert Rickey are the two guys behind Marketplace SuperHeroes.
This Amazon seller training course has been around for a few years now and is continually updated, making it one of the most up-to-date courses on Amazon FBA that you can get your hands on.
To quote the MarketPlace SuperHeroes website:
In just a few years the MPSH community has generated millions in revenue and has become the #1 place to learn how to build a sustainable, global Amazon empire.
One of the many things I love about this course is that the strategy for finding products to sell on Amazon is very different to that of most courses in the same space.
And that's also the case with the whole MarketPlace Superheroes philosophy, they do things differently to most and will teach you the exact processes that they have used to build their own Amazon selling business into the success it is today.
MarketPlace SuperHeroes includes:
- MPSH Core System Phase 1 and Phase 2: 97 training videos in total, across 12 modules.
- Fuel Your Empire: Over the shoulder video training of Robert and Stephen as they go through the product research process.
- $1k Per Day Road Map: How to get your business to $1,000 per day in sales.
- Invincible Importing: How to master the importing process and easily import your products every single time.
- 30 Minute Legendary Listings: The exact MPSH process for creating auto-selling Amazon listings that convert.
- Fuel Your Empire God Series: More over the shoulder videos on the key aspects of product selection and market analysis.
- Regular Online Streams: Robert and Stephen answer member questions and offer up some words of motivation.
- Superhero Journey: Follow the journey of successful students as they build a new Amazon business from scratch.
- SuperHero Sprint: Robert and Stephen work with you virtually to help you fuel your own Amazon empire.
Other benefits of this course:
Selling through Amazon FBA in multiple countries is a huge part of the MarketPlace SuperHeroes strategy.
No other course that I've found covers this area in the detail that MarketPlace SuperHeroes does.
The course is not tailored to be a better fit for the residents of any one country. All the training is about selling globally on Amazon, not just on Amazon.com.
One of my favourite things about the course is that the it is very linear and incredibly easy to follow.
Step-by-step stuff starting with the basics, covering every aspect of the MPSH strategy in detail and progressing to very advanced stuff towards the end…perfect for someone like me who likes to have their hand held through something like this.
Program/Course: MarketPlace SuperHeroes System v.2
Product Owners: Robert Rickey and Stephen Somers
Current Pricing: $997 (or 12 x $97 option available)
My Rating: 9.5 /10 (damn high score I know, but, I've been following this Amazon FBA training for a 18 months now and haven't come across anything they've missed)

2. Azon University
Relatively speaking this is a bit of a new kid on the block.
But that doesn't mean it's not excellent quality…it absolutely is!
Brought to you by brothers Josh and Shimmy Morris this is a course built on high quality content and crystal clear clarity.
To quote the Azon University 2 website:
We coach and train individuals on starting a successful Amazon business so you can build a better life for yourself and earn your freedom.
I was genuinely surprised by the quality of this course when I went through it.
I don't know why but for some reason I had my doubts that it was going to be any good.
Probably just because I try out a lot of different Amazon selling programs and most of them are garbage.
Well, I was wrong to have doubts. This is a top course.
Azon University 2 includes:
- Welcome To Azon University 2: 9 bitesize videos about how both the course and FBA work.
- Millionaire Mindset Makeover: 6 videos on setting yourself up for success.
- Product Profits: The 4 principles of hot-selling product ideas and how to easily find them.
- Golden Suppliers: Finding “golden suppliers” using Azon's copy-paste email templates and scripts.
- Your First Amazon Page: How to get more sales with high converting brand focused strategies.
- Amazon Seller Central: The basics of using the Amazon FBA Admin area.
- Welcome To The Sales Avalanche: How to earn free organic traffic from Amazon.
- Welcome To The Top 1%: Taking your products to new markets, adding “Product Value Hacks.”
Other benefits of this course:
I love clarity.
Especially when it comes to programs showing you how to get up and running with a business like FBA.
There are a lot of moving parts to this business so you want your chosen course to add clarity to the steps.
Like the guys at MarketPlace SuperHeroes, this is one of the few courses that does exactly that.
Another big benefit of joining up with Azon University…
…is that you will get two months of One-to-One coaching via email with Josh and Shimmy. Valuable.
Program/Course: Azon University 2
Product Owners: Josh Morris and Shimmy Morris
Current Pricing: $995 (discount of $298 sometimes available via my affiliate link below)
My Rating: 8/10

3. Amazing Selling Machine

If you like your courses big, brash and beefy, this might just be exactly what you're looking for.
Over the last six years, Amazing Selling Machine has built up significant track record in training people exactly how to sell on Amazon and become top Amazon FBA sellers.
Who knows, you could be next.
Before rattling on for too much longer, in case you're not already aware, ASM does come at a price…and it's a big one.
Something else you should know is that the ASM course is not available all year round. They tend to have a couple of launches a year, of the latest updated version of the course, and those launches tend to last for about one month.
To quote the Amazing Selling Machine website:
How To Build Your Own Profitable Business on Amazon in 6 Months (or less).
Amazing Sales Machine includes:
- Module 1 – Building your Product Opportunity List
- Module 2 – Suppliers, Samples & Profit Numbers
- Module 3 – Ordering Inventory and Creating Your Brand
- Module 4 – Building Your Brand Assets
- Coaching Calls & Bonuses
- The Private Resource Vault
- The ASM Community
Program/Course: Amazing Selling Machine
Product Owners: Matt Clark and Jason Katzenback
Current Pricing: $4,997 (6 monthly payment option available)
My Rating: 8/10 (I mean the quality of the course and support warrant a 9 but I've docked it a point because of the price)

4. Proven Amazon Course
Originally launched in 2009, this course is still one of the most popular options for Amazon FBA training.
And that's not too surprising…
Jim Cockrum and his team have a ton of experience and are continually updating the course, adding new strategies and increasing the number of support staff all the time.
To quote the Proven Amazon Course website:
This is the most comprehensive, creative and up-to-date “selling on Amazon” course in the world supported by the largest team of successful Amazon selling moderators.
Now I don't know about that, but I do know that the course is high quality and extremely comprehensive. There are loads of video tutorials as well as written training, between them covering just about every aspect of becoming a successful Amazon FBA seller.
The core of the course is on the 3 key aspects of Amazon FBA:
- Sourcing/Buying
- Shipping
- Listing
Proven Amazon Course covers all of these essential areas extremely thoroughly.
Around the main topics noted above there's plenty of bonus material to help you get your business to the next level, including training on private labelling, inventory, refund guidance etc.
Genuinely there's way too much inside of PAC to list it all in this round-up post, so here's the section titles of about half of the course:
- Private Label
- Multiple Sourcing Strategies
- Promotional Company Sourcing
- Proven Performance Inventory
- Proven Audience Formula
- Merch
- International FBA
- Build Your Team
- Taxes, Accounting, Legal
- Creative Partnerships
Other benefits of this course:
Multiple FBA strategies are covered with genuine industry experts drafted in to help put the training together where required.
Part of the Proven Amazon Course specialises in how to get on to Amazon FBA for non-United States residents. Most other courses focus solely on United States residents using Amazon FBA via Amazon.com.
The course also has a very active private community on Facebook where you can get help and advice from other members going through the course.

Current Pricing: $549 (or 6 x $97 option available)

5. Online Selling Experiment

Ryan Grant, the guy who started Online Selling Experiment has been selling on Amazon since 2008.
In 2013 he started blogging about his Amazon selling experiences, and eventually started turning his knowledge into course material.
Solid credentials.
The Online Selling Experiment training is super high quality and bang up to date.
And with all of the course content being delivered over the ‘teachable’ platform, it couldn’t be easier to follow.
Step by step training that’s been well thought out, and well put together.
A few words from the Online Selling Experiment website:
Learn the low risk system I’ve used to help hundreds of people make $1,000 or more each month on Amazon.
This training course has been put together with absolute beginners in mind.
Online Selling Experiment offer a suite of training products, with the central course being Online Retail Pro and a variety of ‘Accelerators' to complement the core training.
Online Retail Pro includes topics like Online Arbitrage, Wholesale, Outsourcing, Flipping, Retail Arbitrage and more.
Accelerators are a type of training where a small number of students are brought in for a live, 4 week program aimed at achieving a very specific goal related to selling online.
Each Accelerator comes with a guarantee regarding what results you'll enjoy and includes live training with Ryan and the rest of the team.
I believe their most popular to date has been the ‘Wholesale Accelerator'.
Here is an outline of how the Online Retail Pro course is structured:
- The Basics – Setting up your business structure and accounts
- Flipping – getting started, negotiating, making sales
- Retail Arbitrage Strategies – Selecting stores, evaluating products, guidelines
- Amazon – Fees, listings, the Buy-Box
- Pricing – Five different pricing strategies covered
- Online Arbitrage Strategies – Coupons & discounts, making your approach, tools
- Outsourcing – What it is and how to do it effectively
- Wholesale – Setting it up, buying guidelines, evaluating, placing orders
What I really like about this course…
…is the incredibly straightforward approach that is taught to getting up and running.
What I don’t like about the course is that it is focused on doing business out of the United States only. But then I would say that because I’m not a U.S. resident.
And that’s not to say that people from outside of the United Sates can’t get anything of value from the Online Selling Experiment training, they absolutely can.
The problem will be when it comes down to the finer detail, anyone from outside of the U.S. will be left having to do a lot of their own spadework.
But if you’re resident in the U.S., this guy has got it pretty much nailed to the floor.
Program/Course: Online Retail Pro
Product Owner: Ryan Grant
Current Pricing: $2,499
My Rating: 7.5 /10 (for U.S. residents)

How To Sell On Amazon – Wrapping It Up
In super-brief summary, the Amazon FBA courses that I believe are best placed to teach just about anyone how to sell on Amazon…
…are these two:
MarketPlace SuperHeroes is my number one. It's the course that I stuck with and took me from clueless Amazon FBA seller, to a pretty solid level of success in well under 12 months.
I'm still learning with MarketPlace SuperHeroes as I look to scale up my business to the next level.
If these guys weren't around, I'd go here…
Proven Amazon Course. Also an excellent Amazon seller training course that can take you from complete newbie to super advanced in a relatively short space of time.
But what's the best Amazon FBA course for you?
It depends on a few of things:
Where are you living? If you are in the United States you can choose any of them. If you're outside of the U.S. I would say stick to either MarketPlace SuperHeroes, Proven Amazon Course or Amazing Selling Machine.
What level are you at? I would say beginners can have their pick of those I've listed. If you're more advanced I think you'll want to rule out Udemy.
Your budget. Some of the price tags may seem steep but when you think that this a real business you'll be setting up, and the training is focused on getting you to earnings of a few thousand dollars a month quickly, it's a relatively small investment into your education and future business.
Trying to teach yourself Amazon FBA will cost you a fair amount of both time and money. Mistakes in this business can be expensive, all of these Amazon training courses will show you how to navigate around the potential pitfalls.
The truth is that I think all of the courses listed here are decent and offer good value.
My best advice would to to spend some time looking around their websites so you can start to get a feel for the people, as well as the course before proceeding. Find your best fit.
Got something to add?
I'd love to hear about your experiences with any Amazon FBA training courses, and how you've got on learning how to sell on Amazon…good or bad.
Just drop me a comment in the box further below.

Thank you for the info on top courses. I just signed up the other day w/Bob & Algon.
They teach Amazon, vom, FBA… for about $997.00. Any thoughts on them? I have 30 days to get a refund, but just barely started.
Thank you! Donna
Hey Donna,
Thanks for your comments.
Pretty rare that I’ve not heard of someone in the FBA training space but, Bob & Algon, you’ve
got me on this one.
Is it Algo-Retail maybe?
Any chance you could send me a link?
Best,
Andrew
Hi Andrew, Are any of these companies better to use if you want to source products in the US (I live in the US also) ?
Mary
Hi Mary,
Thanks for getting in touch.
If you want to source from within the U.S. I would say you are best off going with either Online Selling Experiment or Proven Amazon Course.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Andrew
Thank you for a great resource. I came across this today as I’m about to sign up for the class with Sophie Howard. I’m wondering if you feel the value is there compared to the ones you have above that are much less expensive with the exception of the ASM class obviously. So I ask how would you rate Sophie Howard’s Blue Sky University? I really value your opinion and thank you you seem very knowledgeable.
And it’s scary spending all that money and not knowing for sure what is the best investment. I am as a newbie as they come. Looking to start a life of independence. Thanks again for your input Andrew.
Hi Jacqueline, Glad you found this post useful. I think Sophie Howard’s Blue Sky course is pretty decent.
It’s not totally my cup of tea, but hey, we’re all different.
MPSH is my clear favourite as I just really like the clarity they provide all the way through the program, as well as their teaching style.
I believe the Blue Sky University course turns in decent results.
Do you get something like a 30 day money back guarantee with Blue Sky? If so, give it a try.
Best,
Andrew
Hello Andrew
Thank You for your article. I’ve been contemplating to start a business selling on Amazon for quite some time. I’d like to get your thoughts on Reliable Education if possible. I see it is very expensive and I don’t see any reviews on it except through Reliable itself.
Your advise is very helpful.
Super Heroes seems to be a good fit for beginner knowledge & cost as per your article I would just like to make a solid confident decision.
Thank You
Lisa
Just to add I am from Canada.
Thanks again.
Lisa
Hello,
Thanks very much for this. I am based in the UK and seriously considering MPSH. Would you recommend it for someone in the UK?
Many thanks.
Hi Yanna,
Yeah definitely I would.
MPSH have a global approach and that’s one of the reasons I like them so much
I’m in the UK myself.
Best,
Andrew
Andrew,
Thanks for the great reviews! I have been reviewing countless YouTube videos, Amazon Guru’s and courses non-stop for the last month or so. I think we are on the exact same page since I have MPSH and PAC as my top 2 courses to purchase. I did run across Jimmy Michalek who runs the Amazon FBA Champs University for the cost of $895. He seems to be very detailed and speaks at a good rate to ensure his students understand everything he is saying. I was just curious if you or anyone reading this has heard of him or if you have any reviews. Thanks for the great insight above!
Scott from Chicago
Hi Scott,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your comments.
I know the Jimmy Michalek course pretty well and it’s okay for sure. Doesn’t currently make my list of favourites but it’s a close run thing at the top.
Best,
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Thank you very much for your article and its really useful to me. I got registered with your newsletter too.
I live in Australia, Can I join with MPSH in Australia.?
Hi Piyumi,
Yeah you can join MPSH in Australia.
Probably a great market to get started in too as I think FBA is relatively new there.
Best of luck,
Andrew
Thanks, Andrew for your reply. I am going to jump in.
Good for you Piyumi.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your great review. I just got my seller account in Amazon. I am from Singapore, we also have lots of training courses for Amazon seller locally. Which do you recommend for me to go for course, one of your listed or local course? thank you
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your details article!
It was very helpful, as I was researching for different Amazon FBA training programs, realizing that many programs have “hidden fees” later down the road. Which is a shame because some programs teach very well but then they force you into subscribing into costly monthly payments. Like Six Figure Mentors and Kevin David’s FBA Amazon Ninja course.
What’s your perspective on these two programs compared to your top choice?
I’m assuming there are no hidden fees after the course is paid?
Take care,
Noemi
Hi Noemi,
I think Kevin David’s course is pretty decent, not really keen on the SFM course.
Like you I prefer courses where you know upfront what you’re going to pay for the whole thing.
I don’t mind a couple of legit possible upgrades at the right time.
The MPSH is definitely my preferred course at the moment, depth of content, clarity of training, no hidden costs, genuine people.
Good luck,
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
I greatly appreciate the depth you put in analyzing the above FBA courses. I am a complete newbie to Amazon or any e-commerce trade. I have been researching for months on which training course to sign up with before stumbling on your article because I wouldn’t want to be a victim of any of the fraudsters out there, who displays sham seven figure earnings. I want to go with the MPSH, based on your experience so far, I would like to know if the MPSH course can comfortable take me from beginner to well a grounded knowledge in FBA trade. Thumbs up for your good work!
Hi Jimoh,
Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you’ve found the post useful.
Personally I believe MPSH to be the best FBA course out there.
It’s as suitable for a total newbie as it is for more advanced FBA biz owners because they cover everything in such depth and explain everything so clearly.
There is a lot to learn with Amazon FBA but the MPSH course won’t at any stage leave you scratching your head wondering what they are talking about.
Taking people from beginner to well grounded FBA biz owners is what the course is all about.
Go ahead and read my full MPSH review if you haven’t already.
Good luck,
Andrew
Hi Andrew, just wanted to let u know that after reading ur articles, i joined MPSH.
been there just over a month and think their material is fantastic.
Also they just seem genuine people u care and they respond back you when u have a question 🙂
thank you for your write up, helped me make my decision.
I am in the UK so great to get feedback from a UK person.;-)
Hey Selina,
I’m absolutely delighted to hear that you’re having an equally great experience with MPSH as I’ve always had.
I check out loads of FBA courses to see if they should be on this list but so far I’ve never found one even close to knocking MPSH off the top spot.
Best of luck with your business…exciting times.
Andrew
Yo I am so glad you didn’t include Kevin david’s course that dude doesn’t know anything about Amazon Fba. I always see people promoting it but, it’s refreshing to see someone who doesn’t just push anything out there.
Hi, I’m also looking into AMAZON FBA SELLING. Have you heard of Sophie Howard program? They have a one on coach. Quite expensive though, 3500
Hey Vicky,
Yeah I know the course pretty well. I like the course a lot and I like Sophie Howard, she is pretty impressive and has a great teaching style.
I’m not certain I saw where it added additional value over and above my top ranked course from the guys at MPSH, but it is a lot more expensive.
Best, Andrew
