Six Figure Mentors Review…
…a Quick SnapShot:
Summary:
If you follow the SFM training, you will gain some online marketing skills. And there's a business system to make launching your website as simple as possible.
But the downsides are that the training is outdated, and the cost.
When I signed-up with The Six Figure Mentors, I totally believed it was the affiliate training program that would turn my online fortunes around.
I spent a ton of money (too much to mention), and a ton of time (about 18 months), working through the course material and following everything I was being told to do.
Stick around and I'll share with you what I found out as a fully paid up ‘Elite' SFM member and ‘Gold' DEA member…
…in my comprehensive, Six Figure Mentors Review:
The Six Figure Mentors – Key Info
📣 About | An affiliate training opportunity aimed at new online marketers. |
💰 Price | Essential Plan: $297 joining fee + $97 per month |
✅ Pros | Support is very responsive and helpful. |
❌ Cons | Thin affiliate training with hard-sell upsells. |
🏁 Opinion | Expensive and not enough deep technical content. |
Are you currently thinking about joining the Six Figure Mentors, like I was a while back?
Maybe you're struggling to decide…is this a genuine online opportunity?..
…or is the Six Figure Mentors a total scam?
There is no shortage of coverage on the internet about both the Six Figure Mentors, and the Digital Experts Academy.
Digital Experts Academy is the most advanced part of the online program created by the two founders Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek.
There are better alternatives out there that's for sure, but for now, let's crack on with this review…
But What's The Real Six Figure Mentors Story?
Over the last five years or so, I've signed-up to, and tried out, over twenty different online opportunities.
It's cost me both time and money…way too much of both to think about really.
This review is simply my take on the Six Figure Mentors, having been right through the system as a fully paid up Elite member, and Digital Experts Academy Gold member.
I hope it helps you in making your own decision.
Here's the deal:
Name: The Six Figure Mentors
Owners: Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek
Opportunity: Learn how to market any product or service online effectively – either your own existing product or service, or as an affiliate for someone else's. Also offers a high-ticket affiliate product in itself.
Websites: www.thesixfigurementors.com
Price: Free to join, with further membership levels should you want to progress your training and buy into the Six Figure Mentor's own high-ticket affiliate opportunity. Prices shown below.
The Levels of Six Figure Mentors Membership:
Let's look at these in a little more depth:
Affiliate Access: Free
For people who want to promote the Six Figure Mentors as an SFM affiliate, you will have the opportunity to earn commissions by promoting their memberships, products and services.
Not much more to say about this level of membership than that really.
Student Access: Free 30 Day Test-Drive ($25 per month thereafter if remain a member)
Access to the members-only site, which includes a step-by-step Online Business Success Module. Recording of the SFM Founder's Visionary Call where they share advanced insights.
Access to a business system consultant. Access to their Digital Skills Platform where you can learn online skills through hundreds of short, digestible video tutorials.
Essential Membership: $297 upfront plus $97 per month
At this level you get access to the SFM Digital Business System, live weekly training, recorded training, training modules, your own senior business coach, Digital Business Lounge Premium Membership (DBL is a platform for purchasing your domain, through to installing, designing and using your website to market your business), live event eligibility (events held throughout the year in US, UK, AUS, CAN), access to private Community Site.
While you can earn affiliate commissions at each level, this is the first level where they start to get pretty big.
Your Commission when Referring an Essential Member:
Initial Income: $200
Residual Monthly Income: $20
Your Commission when Referring an Elite Member:
Initial Income: $250
Residual Annual Income: $250

SFM Elite membership is essentially a private mastermind (live webinars, challenges, training, coaching). These are pretty much all hosted by the co-founders Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek.
The training here is designed to fast track your learning and focus you on money producing activities. You will also qualify for the highest commissions possible by promoting SFM membership packages as an SFM elite affiliate.
Your Commission when Referring an Essential Member:
Initial Income: $200
Residual Monthly Income: $20
Your Commission when Referring an Elite Member:
Initial Income: $1000
Residual Annual Income: $1000
My Six Figure Mentors Experience
I have to say I found the first few days of my Student Membership pretty very annoying.
You get absolutely bombarded with relentless upgrade opportunities and that gets more than a little bit irritating.
You know the stuff…
…every upgrade is offered at an apparently discounted rate for a prescribed amount of time, with a digital countdown to add to the drama.
Not a great start to be fair, but very much part-and-parcel of buying most digital products online these days.
It did get better though, just as soon as I decided to ignore the early-bird discount opportunities and to make up my own mind about if and when I would upgrade.
Even at this early stage, what really intrigued me about the Six Figure Mentors opportunity was the fact that it is also a high-ticket affiliate program in itself, and the ability to earn while you learn.
But what does this…
a high-ticket affiliate program in itself', and the ability to earn while you learn.
…actually mean?
There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about this online.
I've read quite a few Six Figure Mentors reviews.
Many of them say that within this program, all you are learning to promote is the Six Figure Mentors and Digital Experts Academy programs themselves, and that you aren’t really free to apply this to a business of your choice.
Now that's either a huge and fundamental misunderstanding, or it's a downright lie!
What it means, is simply this:
The training itself aims to provide you with the skill-set to market on the internet and earn either affiliate commissions should you be marketing someone else's products, or straight up sales profits if you're marketing your own products.
Combine this training with the fact that both the Six Figure Mentors, and Digital Experts Academy, offer members the opportunity to affiliate market their own product ranges, with high retail values, you have a genuine opportunity to earn while you learn.
And you can earn significantly with the Six Figure Mentors affiliate program…and if you choose to, also with the Digital Experts Academy affiliate program.
But, in mitigation of the online reviewers who try and paint the SFM as a bit of a scam…
…I don't think the SFM do themselves any favours in that they do try and lead new members into marketing the SFM and DEA straight out of the blocks.
And the problem I have with this is that it's a seriously tough niche to get any real traction in, seriously tough.
Before going any further…
…if you're not absolutely certain what affiliate marketing is and how it all works, check out my article on this site covering exactly that.
Bottom Line?
The Six Figure Mentors and Digital Experts Academy is about teaching you how to be an affiliate marketer and online business owner, while learning you can choose to…
- Affiliate market the Six Figure Mentors / Digital Experts Academy products and services;
- Affiliate market someone else's products and services;
- Market your own products and services;
- Do all three of the above.
If you carry on through all of the Six Figure Mentors membership levels and decide to move on into Digital Experts Academy, aside from this membership upgrade costing you a ton of money…
…you will also be taught, by industry specialists ImportXperts, how to set-up and run your own online importing business, such as an Amazon FBA business.
The best part about joining the SFM, for me, was this:
- I wanted to learn how to be an affiliate marketer…and I wanted to learn quickly;
- Like most people starting out, I didn't have my own product to market, nor at the time did I have anyone else's to affiliate market;
- I wanted to earn high-ticket commissions and not be slaving away making 100 sales all for a couple of hundred bucks profit;
- Last but definitely not least, I wanted to start earning from day one…well…month one anyway.
And the worst part:
- The affiliate training turned out to be nowhere near deep enough in some critical areas;
- The high price;
- I really didn't appreciate the high-pressure selling of the optional upgrades during the first few weeks of my membership;
- New members get encouraged to promote the SFM itself, rather then being encouraged to get into a niche of their own.
My Six Figure Mentors Review – Wrapping It Up
Making money with the Six Figure Mentors and Digital Experts Academy is absolutely possible, but you will need to apply yourself to the training in order to reap the rewards. Like anything really.
If you level up above ‘Essential' Membership it starts to get very expensive, there is no getting away from that.
Also, I don't think promoting the SFM product range itself is the right way to go for most new affiliate marketers.
But if you are an experienced affiliate marketer, and believe you would be comfortable promoting the Six Figure Mentors and Digital Experts Academy product range, well…
…high paying affiliate programs are extremely hard to come by, but this is one.
My Experience: 2.5 /5
Recommendation:
At the initial stages, the training is fit for purpose, but in my opinion only up to the level of ‘Essential' Membership.
For the cost of the course material that's on offer above ‘Essential', there's significantly better out there.
If I was starting out in affiliate marketing right now, with no prior experience…
…I would be signing-up with someone else.
There Are Better Affiliate Training Programs Out There!
Okay, not that many, but there are a few.
These are my two most highly rated affiliate courses right now.
Both of these programs will teach you their tried and tested steps of how to build and grow successful affiliate sites.
Authority Hacker: Authority Hacker’s The Authority Site System is bang up to date affiliate training with a focus on niche selection, building out new authority sites, content creation and building layers of traffic sources.
The goal of The Authority Site System is to get you to a point where your authority site is earning you in the region of $2k to $10k per month…what they refer to as a “Stage 1 Authority Site”.
Once you're making that kind of monthly income, you can level up to their flagship program: Authority Hacker Pro.
Affiliate Lab: SEO legend Matt Diggity's outstanding training program is of rare quality and focused on getting you the results you want as quickly as possible.
This course is packed to the rafters with cutting-edge affiliate training that you won't find elsewhere.
You can find out more about both Authority Hacker and Affiliate Lab, plus one other highly recommended affiliate course in my dedicated post all about exactly where to find the best affiliate marketing training.

Something went wrong.
I joined SFM and stayed for about 2 years.
I went from Essential to Elite to the next one, costing me like nearly $10000 Australian dollars. So add that to all the other memberships, plus your website hosting and the monthly $97 plus payment of advertising I did.
Absolutely did not make a bloody cent and I tried everything and spent countless hours on YouTube videos and updating my website, plus weekly meetings and watching countless videos etc
Then missed a payment for the monthly fee and then these idiots deleted my whole god damn website.
I was furious when I found out. They tried to tell me they had emailed me which is a load of crap because I had no such emails. All those hours spent completely wasted.
There are people who have made money and they’re the ones who started at the beginning. But I think you’ll find not a lot of success stories.
Keep your money and your time. Not worth it.
I cringe when I think of how much money I wasted and not to earn a single cent!!!! Probably like $18, 000???
Makes me sick. Couldn’t even tell you the hours I put in.
Stay away from the MLM.
It’s a great way to make Stuart and Jay millions of dollars, but not you.
And if you do make money, good for you!
Hopefully it didn’t take you $18k to get there.
Pretty similar to my experience I would say.
Same here, I joined in 2020, a lot of red flags came up which I ignored. For example, the email module, we were encouraged to set up a company gmail account. It ended up costing more money when all the while there was a free email available within the membership. That was not discussed at all in the video. When I talked to the person who signed me up for the program, it was completely denied. They said “I never saw anything like that in the modules, and I just re-did all of them”. Even though this person is one at the top producers of arm or launch you or whatever it is they’re calling themselves these days. I think it was alerted and the video then changed. There’s more, but too much to write here. Anyway, I did get something out of it but it cost me thankfully not tons, but it did take a lot of time away. I subsequently closed out my account and had a sort of review exit interview. Well, I don’t even hear from them anymore because they can tell right away who to bother trying to re-sell or who to drop as a waste of time. I’m sure some people do get a lot out of it and do find success. I felt like it was just another pyramid scene, polished up with a pretty package. Thank for the review, I sure wish I had read it before joining. It’s okay though, I did learn from it and have a lot of take aways that I can keep forever.
I have been in SFM for 6 months without getting any real value from it.. I paid about 500 € in this time and I didnt get any proper trainings how to build business around my passion. Trainings are not deep enough.
Now I switched to Authority hackers and for 600 € I got lifetime membership, and only in two weeks I have learned more than I have learned within SFM in 6 months! And I went through all 3 online buseness courses in SFM… So with AH you get a lot more and if you compare the price its not actually that big.
I paid as much for AH for lifetime membership as I would pay for SFM in next 7-8 months. And sfm’s basic membership doesnt really teach anything, only how to be sfm affiliate. For more trainings you’ll have to buy expensive Elite membership, and I have heard that its actually about coatching, not practical learning.
Now finelly I will be able to start building my online business with Authority hacker trainings.
Hi AK,
You’ve made the right move for sure, I’m really pleased to hear it’s going well with Authority Hacker.
Good luck.
Best,
Andrew
It’s easy to say that doesn’t work when people don’t put the work and expect easy and quick results.
Im not here to judge you, but i bet that you gave up way too soon, and as well i can see that you haven’t done the right use of the mentors available.
Sometimes the biggest question you should ask yourself is: HAVE I DONE MY MAX WITH AN OPEN MIND?
People out there, this is not for everyone, requires desire and courage to change their life once and for all…
The quality of time (3years) that you invested, turned out that for me (1,5 years into it), allow me to actually change my life completely financially and most important develop myself.
AND ANOTHER GREAT MOVE IS THAT YOUR REVIEW IS SIMPLY TO ATTRACT OTHER PEOPLE INTO YOUR NEW AFFILIATE? SUCH A GREAT MOVE MY FRIEND.. ahahahahah ridiculous.. Please if you have the courage, keep this comment open to everyone.
Good for you Davide, that the SFM has enabled you to change your life for the better.
Next time you wish to leave a comment on my site though, ease up on the aggression and accusations of lack of work ethic please.
Thank you,
Andrew
I’m with you all the way with your SFM comments. I joined in February 20, upgraded within the discount window to Elite and since then struggling to see the value for elite status, plus there’s the ongoing subscription cost. I should have evaluated before forking out for the discount. The training package is comprehensive up to essential grade. Going to cut my losses and pull the plug on the subscription. Regards Adrian
Thanks Andrew. I’m also about to start Online Affiliate Marketing courses to make good use of this locked-down period. I was very close to go with SFM, before seeing your post. Their marketing is very well done and is quite convincing to get you on board. Their global offer also looks solid. Anyhow, I dislike the “costs hidding” tactic on the videos and also the upsales. Your detailed post about it quite helps getting the actual picture. I don’t mind investing in learing when ROI is covering it. Therefore, with SFM yearly memberships, you seem to always have to pay something (a quite important amount of money), I mean…where does it end? I wanna keep the money I earn at some point.
Do, The Authority Hackers have really only 1 time payment at then that’s it? Like… really? Your detailled article was very helpfull. Thanks for precious info and helping others.
Hi Gab,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your comment.
Good for you looking to make the most of this lockdown time.
I can absolutely promise you that the one-time payment for ‘The Authority Site System’ is the only money you will ever be asked for.
That one payment gives you lifetime access regardless of how many updates they make to the training.
They have further courses available for more advanced affiliate marketers but by the time you get to needing the next one up ‘Authority Hacker Pro’ you should be making a few thousand dollars a month from your affiliate marketing.
I wish you the best of luck with your journey, stick with it, it’s worth it.
Andrew
Thanks Andrew! Keep up the good work 🙂
it’s really hard to know if the review is legit when you are recommending another site at the end and through the comments. The Authority Site System is $599 up front. No recurring fees but still $599 up front before you see anything so it’s also hard to know if the “fluff” they say they don’t have is truly fluff or not. All these programs are about selling the program to other to make commission off of the people who you encourage to join. When someone is making a commission for a sale, it’s obvious their opinion of other sites is going to be less and they are going to “encourage” you to go to their program so they get paid.
Hi Tina,
Thanks for leaving your comment. It’s always difficult to answer when whether you’re legit or not is being questioned.
Obviously I’m going to say my review is legit, I know that, but it’s difficult to prove.
When i first put this review up it didn’t have a section at the end about my recommended courses, and I would get a dozen emails a day asking me what course I would recommend, that’s why I added it.
I’m more than happy to jump on a skype call and have a chat so that you can question me face to face about either SFM or Authority Hacker.
You’re mistaken in saying that all these programs are about selling the program to others to make commission off of the people who you encourage to join.
That is what the SFM is about, ditto Wealthy Affiliate, but it’s not at all what Authority Hacker is about, far from it, I had to practically beg them to let me market their courses.
Best, Andrew
Was the one on one coaching helpful?
Hi Robin,
On balance I’d have to say no.
Based on the fact that I made use of the one-on-one training but still didn’t make a single dollar in affiliate marketing until I’d left SFM and had signed-up with a totally different affiliate marketing training provider.
Andrew
Hey Andrew I was wondering what is the affiliate marketing training provider that helped you earn for your work?
Hi Loui,
That’s an easy one to answer…
Authority Hacker’s course ‘The Authority Site System‘
I hadn’t made a cent online until I discovered this course…then everything changed.
Andrew
Hi There, I appreciate the comments here. I would so very much appreciate some further comments / feedback on Authority Hacker as I am about to purchase the Authority Hacker course. I really want to succeed online. Thanks so much
Hi Nisa,

That was a constructive analysis. An unbiased one in my perspective
I wouldn’t bother with Six figure mentors unless you’ve got at least £10,000 to spend on their education. I spent £3000 with them over 3 years as a basic member and they teach you nothing you couldn’t learn for free. In that time I didn’t earn a penny using the education they offer at essential. You pay $19.95 for your application, a one off fee of $129 and that’s before you’ve even started, you then pay $97 a month, for nothing more than what are for the most part outdated videos and overpriced web hosting. Once you go through their essential curriculum they immediately try and get more money from you by asking you to go elite at $2500 and if you don’t the things you learn at essential don’t earn you any money anyway. The people are nice enough but the offer wouldn’t be so enticing if they weren’t. I wouldn’t waste your time with this company. I wasted 3 years and earned nothing. Then 4 months after leaving the company they took $97 from me, overdrawing my account and when I requested a refund they claimed I hadn’t cancelled as a member and I’m still trying to get back.
